By far this company, and Sarah, know how to communicate with customers. There were mechanical issues on the sod farm which delayed my delivery. Although the message was not something I wanted to hear, Sarah did a great job keeping me updated. Hands down a great job on communicating. The rescheduled sod delivery driver called me at said he would be late, arriving at 11:30. When I told him I was supposed to have delivery by 10am he said he wasn't told that. He called me at 12 and said he couldn't find the key and would be here soon. My sod finally arrived at 1pm. There was about 10-12 rolls that were too dry to chance on putting it in. There were about 10-15 rolls that had some very thin spots from uneven cuts. Overall this is very low since I ordered 3200 square feet. Again, The communication from Sod King, specifically Sarah, was hands down some of the best I have had from a service company. Thank you, Gerald

I had 9800 sq ft installed.From first phone call to final install was kind, educational and professional. They will go out of their way to work with you. They stay in close and quick contact and always kind. My new lawn looks great. Cost was better than others. Others could learn a lot from them.

Awesome experience. They delivered the sod and it’s was green, lush and perfectly cut. Made super easy for laying. We were a little delayed on sod but what now a days isn’t on back ordered. But the day they said they could get us sod we got it. Thanks sod king!

Lawn Installation
Soil prep is very important in the success of the sod and establishing your new lawn installation. Soil preparation can only be done once before laying your sod delivery. Clear all weeds and debris from area. We recommend a minimum depth of quality top soil to be 2-4 inches prior to installation of sod. Level and grade entire sod area. Soil should be graded to about one inch below concrete. Water soil to allow proper settling of ground and any trenches made prior to sod installation. Lightly rake soil before installation to allow proper contact between sod and soil. Make sure soil preparation is complete before your sod arrives.
