They were so easy to communicate with via text and responded in a timely manner. The sod arrived early on delivery day and the driver went above and beyond to make sure the sod was easily accessible for us. We ordered 18 pallets and there were very few rolls that were cut thin and nearly all of it was useable. It arrived in great condition. I called a few different places and Sod King was priced lower than most but slightly higher than bulldog. The reviews for bulldog weren't nearly as good as sod king and after using sod king, I'd say the slight increase in price was worth the peace of mind that you are getting quality sod and professional people to work with. I needed to get some additional sod after my delivery and wanted to pick it up. Their pickup wasn't available yet but they referred me somewhere that had the same grass so that it would match. I feel like it's pretty big of a company to refer you somewhere else to get what you need vs making the customer wait just so that they will do business with you. I'd highly recommend them!

Great customer service and quick installation! I needed to adjust the order a day before the delivery due to a change in landscape plan. Sod King was so accommodating and helped me collect more sod from other sources. The installation by Dillon and his friend was also quick and efficient.

Lawn Installation
Soil prep is very important in the success of the sod and establishing your new lawn installation. Soil preparation can only be done once before laying your sod delivery. Clear all weeds and debris from area. We recommend a minimum depth of quality top soil to be 2-4 inches prior to installation of sod. Level and grade entire sod area. Soil should be graded to about one inch below concrete. Water soil to allow proper settling of ground and any trenches made prior to sod installation. Lightly rake soil before installation to allow proper contact between sod and soil. Make sure soil preparation is complete before your sod arrives.
