We are absolutely in awe at the quality of our sod received from Sod King. We ordered 4 pallets and out of all 4 pallets, only 3 pieces of sod were slightly less quality, and were still able to be used to fill in oddball spots. The Sod came with a beautiful dark green color and has kept that color after exactly 3 weeks and is absolutely thriving. I would recommend Sod King to anyone!

Great people to work with, they were prompt in all three of their deliveries The product was better that we expected. It "Greened" really fast. We ordered over 100,000 square feet and No waste!!! . I would highly recommend Sod King to anyone

So, so, so easy. I did a quote online and got it in my email within 10 minutes and was able to accept it, or call if I had questions. I also loved that I got a call, making sure my delivery day would work and was offered services from their partners if I needed sprinkling systems, ground leveling, etc.... Delivery was a breeze!! It was dropped off in the morning and I didn’t even have to sign anything or talk to anyone. I got an email to pay the invoice and that was it! They even came to pick up the pallets after we were finished!! 10/10 recommend using Sod King.

Lawn Installation
Soil prep is very important in the success of the sod and establishing your new lawn installation. Soil preparation can only be done once before laying your sod delivery. Clear all weeds and debris from area. We recommend a minimum depth of quality top soil to be 2-4 inches prior to installation of sod. Level and grade entire sod area. Soil should be graded to about one inch below concrete. Water soil to allow proper settling of ground and any trenches made prior to sod installation. Lightly rake soil before installation to allow proper contact between sod and soil. Make sure soil preparation is complete before your sod arrives.
