Soil prep is very important in the success of the sod and establishing your new lawn installation. Soil preparation can only be done once before laying your sod delivery. Clear all weeds and debris from area. We recommend a minimum depth of quality top soil to be 2-4 inches prior to installation of sod. Level and grade entire sod area. Soil should be graded to about one inch below concrete. Water soil to allow proper settling of ground and any trenches made prior to sod installation. Lightly rake soil before installation to allow proper contact between sod and soil. Make sure soil preparation is complete before your sod arrives. Soil prep advice for 84123

Several neighbors and I purchased the King Silver Hybrid Sod. Sarah from SodKing was amazing to work with. Super fast responses, ultra knowledgeable, and very service-oriented. I laid our sod about 2 weeks ago and it's doing great so far. I'm thrilled with the idea of only mowing ~1x/month and not having such a high water bill. Thanks so much!

Couldn't have been happier with Sod King! They were dealing with a sod shortage at the time I ordered and despite that shortage they worked with me to get what I needed when I needed it. The installation crew came in and got things done quickly and perfectly. I’ve only had the grass a short time, but so far it’s stayed green, think, and healthy. When I get ready to do my front yard, I will definitely be calling them!

Great Sod! I haven't found a single weed in over 9000 Sq Ft! We did run into some hiccups with getting the sod delivered but Sod King did everything they could to make up for it. I would recommend this company for sod.
